Winterbourne -it's time to find your trainers!

Local Fitness Walker, Sara Goldhawk, is encouraging the people of Winterbourne to find their trainers this Spring and get fit with her in a brand new fitness walking group.

Sara, 44, has lost an amazing 3 stone through Fitness Walking and adopting a healthier way of eating. She fitness walks 2 - 3 times a week and now she wants to help the residents of Bristol lose weight and get fitter with her.

"For the past year, I have been working hard on developing a new and exciting group for Bristol, which combines the ideals of a slimming club and a fitness walking club. This new group, Sara G - Walk with Me, will help people lose weight, tone their body, as well as showing them the wonderful benefits of fitness walking. "

Sara says "This new group has no age limit, no fitness limit, so whatever it says on your birth certificate or however unfit you are feeling, come and join us. We will get you fitter for Summer and fitter for Life".

Fitness Walking offers all the benefits of running and jogging but it is kinder to the knees and joints. Walkers can burn on average 100 calories per mile whilst the fitness walking action can help tone up legs, bottoms, waists and arms.

Sara says "Is fitness walking the new running? I think it is. Come and join our group and find out why so many people are taking up this fantastic form of exercise".
