St Michael's Pre-school and Toddler Group

We are a long established Pre-school which has always been at the heart of the community and enjoys excellent links with the local schools. We operate as a registered charity run by a Parent Committee.

Based in the Greenfield Centre on Park Avenue, we can offer a rich and varied learning environment to inspire and support children to reach their full potential. We are fortunate to have a large, fully enclosed, garden area for lots of outdoor play.

We have a very dedicated team of staff, some very highly qualified in Early Years Education and we were OFSTED inspected in November 2011 with a rating outcome of 'Good Quality Provision'.

We offer Pre-school sessions for 3-4 year olds on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 9am and 12pm, 12pm and 3pm or all day between 9am and 3pm.

We hold a Rising 3's session on a Thursday morning between 9.30 and 11.30 for 2 1/2 year olds until they reach their 3rd birthday. This session is smaller and has a high staff to child ratio; ideal for settling children especially if they have not been without Mum/Dad before.

On Thursday afternoons between 1 and 3pm we run a Toddler Group where all carers are welcome to come, not just parents. It is reasonably priced and we offer a discount for siblings.
